The Alzheimer’s Association’s 2009 Memory Walk is coming up on this Saturday, October 3rd. Festivities kick off at 10:00 a.m. on the campus of Genworth Financial, 6620 W. Broad St. The event, which is expected to attract more than 1,000 people, will provide walkers the option of following either a one- or a three-mile route.
As of this writing, the Home Instead Senior Care of Richmond team — the Hurricanes — have raised nearly $1,600 toward our goal of $2,000 to help prevent Alzheimer’s disease.
